Bermuda-based Ironshore Insurance Ltd. has announced that it is opening a new office in Singapore as its latest step in global expansion.
The Singapore branch is to be led by Principal Officer Chen Dai, who is to be tasked with fostering regional growth.
Dai will also be responsible for the firm’s suite of Property and Casualty products across all business lines and will be joined by John G. Moncavage, Political Risk VP.
Ironshore Inc. Chief Executive Officer Kevin H. Kelley described the establishment of a presence in Singapore as the logical next step for the firm as it expands its global footprint.
Ironshore International Chief Executive Officer Mark Wheeler said that the firm was delighted to be joined by Dai, and praised his expertise and experience.
Last year Ironshore expanded its global insurance footprint with expansion to the Australian market and Ironshore Europe commencing operations in January.
